Shayla wanted a very clean and extremely minimal design which allows her photographs to be the focal point and create the colors for the site. Using PHP for the framework of the portfolio gives Shayla the ease and freedom to add or subtract individual photos at her convenience. Using Adobe Caslon Pro as Shayla's name font it produces a very minimal yet elegant brand for Shayla and her photography.

Shayla has worked as a photo editor at Vogue, W, and Budget Travel magazines and currently at the ASME award-winning online edition of Gourmet magazine.
